Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announced a new scheduled service between Aberdeen and the Polish city of Gdansk.
The new service will start from Aberdeen International Airport on 19 June as a twice weekly service, on Monday and Friday, and will be operated with a 180 seat Airbus A320 aircraft. The flight will operate a morning on both days, departing Aberdeen at 0815 and arriving Gdansk at 1130 with the return flight leaving at 0625 and touching down in Aberdeen at 0745.
The new route announcement is the latest in a series of moves by the airline to reinforce its position as the largest operator in Gdansk, and the only direct flight between Aberdeen and Poland.
